Casanova Live Percussion always brings an incredible energy to our venue! His live percussion sets create such an amazing vibe, and he’s brilliant at interacting with the crowd, making sure everyone is having an absolute fab time.We especially love his roaming setup, it allows him to move freely around the venue, jamming alongside our DJs and sax players, making him the focal point of every show. About:

Luigi De Gouveia, known as Casanova, is a Venezuelan-born percussionist now based in the UK. Trained as a classical percussionist and with years of experience performing in bands, junk percussion ensembles, and collaborative projects, he has developed a vibrant, high-energy style. His latest venture, Casanova Live Percussion, is designed to elevate DJ-led events by fusing traditional Latin rhythms with modern sounds through congas, djembe, and electronic pads. Whether on stage or roaming the crowd with his wireless setup, Casanova delivers an unforgettable live experience, seamlessly blending with DJs and saxophonists to ignite any dancefloor or event.

Can we have a later finish?

Whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, all of our performers are flexible so start/end times can be adjusted to suit you.

Can we have the act set up early?‍

Of course. If you want to avoid creating gaps in the day or disturbing the ambience if everything is in the same room, we can help find a suitable time for your act to arrive and set up.

Do you work with other musicians?

Yes! Luigi loves to work with DJs, Saxophonists and Vocalists as part of his set .

Repetoire:

Chris usually play a range of music from various types of dance and house to R&B, but has performed everything from classical to Bhangra. He's a classically trained, accomplished and experienced percussionist. He can work with anything a DJ wants to play.

As standard with all bookings through the Groove, you'll have unlimited opportunities for consultation with our team of dedicated wedding and event planners. You can also chat directly with your act to discuss musical choices and specific logistics for the day of your booking.

To confirm and book, you'll initially receive confirmation that the guys are available on your date following your enquiry. On the same email, you'll also be sent a booking form which you can fill in to populate our system with information regarding your day. You'll then receive a deposit invoice for 20% to secure the bands attendance and complete your booking. Following both these steps, you'll get a confirmation pack with a link to book a meeting with one of our dedicated entertainment planners, some checklists and ideas of musical options to think about, and the next steps involved in your booking. It really is that simple.
